Stay away from downed power lines
Power lines knocked down by blizzards, high winds and other accidents can be deadly. Don't touch downed or sagging wire, and never try to remove a downed line yourself.
If you should come across a damaged line or utility pole, contact Capital Electric immediately. Our line crews are trained to handle this emergency and will go to repair the line as soon as possible.
