Construction is in full swing at Capital Electric

The co-op expects a tentative completion date of September 2008.

headquarters in Bismarck! Northwest Contracting
hired a subcontractor, Do-Mor Construction, for the initial demolition and excavation work. Bi-weekly meetings will be held with contractors, architects and engineers to discuss the project
as it develops. The co-op expects a tentative completion date of September 2008. We thank you, our member-owners, for your patience.

Here are answers to some commonly asked questions:

Can we still stop by the office to pay our electric bill?
Yes! We appreciate personal visits from our members. We ask you to proceed with caution as you walk or drive by the area. Please use the door on the north side of the building.

Why is the reconstruction necessary?
“We haven’t updated this facility since 1986,” says Doug Mork, member services manager. “Back in June of 1986, we served 6,087 accounts. Now we serve 13,738 accounts. Our office and shop are busting at the seams--and the construction allows us to grow along with our membership.”
